Refuge Of Hope Church - Covid-19 Guidelines

In anticipation of your arrival and well-being, we've secured  new procedures for Refuge of Hope. If you plan to visit us, please make sure to read carefully our guidelines.

The Services

Before arriving to church, make sure you are registered for the service through our website.

We ask each individual/family to arrive early in order make seating accommodations before the start of service.

Once you arrive in the parking lot, do not get out of your vehicle. Instead, follow the ushers + parking lot team’s directions on how to enter the church.

We will accommodate the maximum number of possible people within the limits of social distancing guidelines.

Restrictions and Recommendations

It is mandatory for each person to use their masks within the temple with the exception of those who are ministering on the altar.

Members of a single family must sit together.

We will not have children's service in any of the rooms.

If you are sick with a fever or any other cold or flu like symptoms, please stay at home.

If your health is delicate and you wish to attend church, please take precautions for your well being.

If you’re sure you want to attend the “in person” church service just yet, stay home and connect with us via social media.

The water fountains will not be in use.

No food or any sale activities are permitted.

Limit hugs, kisses, and hand greetings.

At the close of the service, everyone will be directed by the ushers to exit the temple.

The use of the restrooms will be controlled by the ushers. Follow their instructions.

General Cleaning & Disinfecting Protocols

The facility will be cleaned after every service.

All high touch surfaces including tables, doors, light switches, desks, telephones, keypads, bathrooms, etc. Will be disinfected with EPA registered disinfectants.

We will have hand sanitizer stations at each entrance of the church.

Altar Calls

As is our custom, we will continue to do “altar calls”. However, people will just raise their hands from their seat for that particular call. We will not impose (discretion of the minister) hands until it is safe. Or, possibly, we will put distance markers on the altar.

Offering Times And Announcements

We encourage you to keep giving your tithes and offerings electronically. However, at the entrance of the church, we have a box where you can deposit your offering and tithe envelopes (please use the envelopes that are in the pews. Please write your name and amount, and at the end of the service you can place your envelope in the box when you leave. Checks should be written to: Refugio De Esperanza, inc.)

Announcements will be delivered on a paper sheet before or after the worship.

Pastoral Care

We will continue providing pastoral care through telephone or virtual conferences.
